Life just has a way of making you give up. Whether it’s with a boss that is too demanding, a lecturer that is bent on making nonsense of your academic pursuit or a business that just keeps incurring costs and making no profit, the list is endless.

For some of us we don’t just understand why the journey to fulfilling purpose can make you so broke and you are wondering “when will all the money these people are talking about start coming?” It can be really painful.

Have you read that topic over and over but it’s like pouring rain water into a basket, when all these things weigh you down  remember that you are allowed to scream, of course you need to let go of the anger, pain and disappointment. You can even cry. Sometimes tears are the only language left for you to speak but you must never give up. If you do, everything you have endured till this point will be a waste.  If you give up you lose the opportunity to live the life you’ve always wanted.

Instead of giving up, scream, cry, do whatever you can to let go of the pain (legal things o) and get back on your feet. Remember that this is just a phase.

Everything you are learning, doing and sacrificing is going to make your success story more beautiful. It may take some time but it will definitely pay off. I have not heard of a legitimately successful person without a story of past failures, defeats, disappointment and setbacks. He succeeded because  he refused to give up. If you give up, you miss the opportunity of seeing your happy ending.

As for me I have not come this far to give up.

This too shall pass.

With Love

  1. Nice writeup. My dear, this happens to me'wella'. Sometime I feel discouraged, especially when things just don't seem to be working out as I expect them to.This could be very discouraging oh. however, what keeps me going is realising that what is ahead of me is worth more than my present discouragement or disappointments. So, I just encourage myself like David did and forge ahead.
