My First Blogger Award!

Friday, 2 September 2016

Happy New Month family.

I hope that we shine and exude so much grace in this month.

I’m starting this month on a fantastic note.  I won an award!!!  My first actually. *sigh if only I can dance*

I was nominated by a sweet heart, Shanyi of the The Shanyi Life  She was also a volunteer at the Becoming conference, I spoke about it here and here.

Thank you so much dear.

Here’s what the Leibster Award is all about. It is an award for bloggers with less than 200 Followers. There are some basic rules and guidelines for this award, which are:

A . Display the Award’s Logo on your blog.
Well I just did that.

B. Thank the blogger who nominated you, and mention them in a link that easily links them back to their own site.
Thank you Shanyi (Although I already thanked you before.)

C Answer ten questions asked by the blogger who nominated you ( I answered more than 10 questions though. Oversabi)
These are my answers to her questions.
1   1. .Describe yourself in 5 words.
2.      I’m evolving, I’m beautiful, I’m a learner, I’m royalty, I'm sold out to Jesus

3   2. What inspired you to start blogging?
Ah that one is long story o. My mentor Mr. Iheanyi Ejiogu introduced me to blogging; however, my desire to share all that I’m learning in my journey to becoming a better person has sustained the blog.

3. Do you see yourself doing this (blogging) for a long time?

I hope so. I really do.

4. Are you relaxed or natural? Why?
I’m natural. (Although I am still learning and I miss my relaxed hair)

I’m natural because my relaxed hair was not as full as I wanted. I had always wanted full long hair. So when the natural hair fever came, cutting my hair seemed like the right thing to do. I wish I didn’t cut it sha. Starting from scratch is so hard.

4  5. What is your go to hairstyle?
I’m not sure I have right now. Like I said I just went natural so I’m still getting used to the whole thing. ( Naturals in the house, I could use some help)

5  6. What's your take on the feminist trend?

Hmmm. Big question. There’s nothing wrong with the girl power idea. Feminism is about supporting women but I think some people have taken it too far.

    7. Describe your ideal man in a sentence.
One sentence keh. Not possible. Too many things to say.

8. What’s the one thing you cannot be caught doing?
Looking down on people

9.Your favorite item in your wardrobe
My bags. I do not know why I love bags so much.

10. If you could go to one place where would it be?
I don’t want to sound dramatic, but I do want to visit a lot of places. We can start from Bora Bora though. (Don’t ask me why; although, I think it's too much of DSTV)

11. What is that thing you don’t like about blogging?
Errr. People thinking they have a right to make decisions in my life because I blog.

12. What is the greatest lesson life has taught you?
Appreciate and love people when you have them with you. Call your friends, buy gifts for your loved ones. You never know what you have until you loose it.

13. What's the best book you have read so far and why?
That will be Success is Who You Are by Sam Adeyemi. The book got me screaming from start to finish. So much wisdom in the book. I can't get tired of reading it. I think I've bought the book for about 5 people just because I wanted them to read it.

14. What advice would you give to your younger self?
I’d tell her not to be afraid, to face the world fearlessly. I’d tell her to have more fun and stop being so serious. Lastly, I’d tell her to have been closer to her dad. Much much closer.

 D. Nominate ten other bloggers and inform them about the nomination.
Not sure if I know up to 10 bloggers but I'd nominate a few.
Here we go.... If you are a blogger and would lve the award, well, I nominate you too.
I nominate
Adedoyin of missadedoyin'sblog
Ibukun of idealwomenng

E. Ask them ten questions of your choice.
These are the questions I'm asking.
Tell us six random facts about yourself
What part of  your physical features define you and why?
Do you still believe in love?
Please give your reasons.
What advice would you give your younger self?
If you could change one thing in the world, what would it be?
Complete this sentence
I wish I can...
What's your biggest dream?
If you were given a million dollars what would you do with it?
What's your favorite song and why?
I can't wait to read answers from you guys.....
